Get to know me even better through smaller expressions of my design style.
While these projects might be small, I hold a fondness for each one. Take a look to find out that I adore hand-done details, bold graphics, and having fun designing!
Prompted to create a series of photographs for social media usage using only paper, graphics, and an item of choice, I chose to mimic the textures I imagined from the scents of Native deodorant by folding paper into patterned decorations. After photographing, I overlaid hand-done animations for a fun-yet-structured look.
I chose to take a part of “Favorite Color is Blue”—a song by Robert DeLong, featuring k.flay—and create a kinetic type music video. Set to undulating blue waves and bold graphics, this video was inspired by garage bands and being a young artist.
These hand-drawn playing cards are inspired by haunted houses and the macabre. Notice the ghastly king peeking out from behind the bookshelf and the queen’s talons grasping a jar of eyes. Each picture card is designed to read the same from either direction.
Ghost Hill Micro Brewery is a fictional brewery located on a quite haunted hill in Massachusetts. For the logo design, I focused on sketched-out details and an eerie planchette shape. I then used the viewfinder of the planchette to highlight the type of brew on the label for the bottle.
